Green Smoothie with Tofu and Turmeric

Nourishing and delicate Smoothie made with tofu, mango, banana, turmeric, avocado, and spinach

Tofu contains a plant protein that provides satiety and prevents overeating; it also abounds in sterols and stanols, both help with dyslipidemia by regulating blood cholesterol.

Turmeric and its active compound curcumin have anti-inflammatory as well as anti-viral properties. Regular consumption of raw curcumin can, therefore, help to boost immunity.

Avocados and spinach contain phytochemicals called lutein and zeaxanthin. Both may promote eye health and lower risk of age-related macular degeneration.

Mango contains an orange pigment called beta-carotene. Beta Carotene may be converted to provitamin A which supports night vision. Additionally, it has anti-inflammatory properties, which may strengthen the immune system.

The smoothie is perfect for breakfast or lunch. If you wish to add carbs - you may add oats. Oats will enhance the nutritional value of the smoothie as it will increase fiber and B vitamins content.



Raw Turmeric




+ any milk + oats ( if preferred)

Mix all ingredients in a blender.
